‘One of London’s most exciting young jewellery designers’    i-D Magazine

Freya Douglas Ferguson is an artist and designer based in London creating sculptural jewellery in metal and glass.

As a self-taught jeweller, she started her label in 2019 afte completing a post-graduate in stone carving. Driven by niche modes of making and craftsmanship, she finds radical and innovative ways of re-engaging traditional crafts in contemporary contexts.

Since launching, Freya Douglas Ferguson has been selected as one of Bloomberg’s New Contemporaries. She has collaborated with designers KNWLS and Gareth Wrighton and her work has been worn by Willow Smith, Ollie Alexander, Caroline Polachek and Yves Tumor.

Freya Douglas Ferguson’s highly anticipated first collection, titled Sap, showcases her signature style of organic and fluid forms.
The collection explores wetness and metamorphosis, taking inspiration from the body, natural forms from chrysalises to stalactites.

Using the method of ancient lost wax casting, the jewellery created seems unconstrained by its own material properties;
where the necklaces, earrings and rings grow, melt and wrap around the body.

KCP Collective respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and recognises their continuing connection to land, waters and culture.
We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be.
